Weight-loss expert Kim Lyons from The Bigggest Loser gears up for her sophomore season and reveals her favorite exercise to do while watching TV.
Favorite TV show?
So You Think You Can Dance, even though I can’t dance to save my life. I’m aiming to be on Dancing With the Stars so America can laugh at me.

Favorite TV snack?
Edamame. I buy the ones in the shell and put a salt substitute on them. It’s salty, crunchy and healthy.

Favorite exercise to do while watching TV?
Standing or jumping squats. I can never do enough toning for my hips, thighs and butt.
One simple workout tip?
Start with common sense. Go outside and get active, whether it’s going for a 20-minute walk in the morning or going to the gym. Forget all the fad workout routines and start with the basics.

Main lesson learned your first year with The Biggest Loser?
It’s a workout show, but it’s also reality TV, so every day is going to be a surprise.
