Perhaps Jackson's global background will influence his music? He was born in Singapore and has lived in Indonesia and Midland, Texas. Jackson then attended an arts academy for high school in Michigan and then moved to L.A. to pursue an acting career. Although it sounds like he'll be pretty busy in the recording studio, Jackson still has acting on his mind.  In addition to filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, he'll star in an upcoming web  thriller, Aim High, about a high school student who leads a double life as a teenage spy.
