It's been a long two months since we last saw the vampires, werewolves, witches and humans of Mystic Falls, but finally, they're back!
In the new preview for tomorrow night's winter premiere episode of The Vampire Diaries, titled "The New Deal," we find out what Klaus Joseph Morgan has in store for the residents of Mystic Falls.

First and foremost though, the hybrid is after Stefan Paul Wesley, who decided to hide Klaus' family's coffins after he was released from his control. But, Klaus isn't too happy with Damon Ian Somerhalder or Elena Nina Dobrev either, after they attempted to kill him at the end of the mid-season finale.

"If you want to beat the villain you gotta be smarter," Damon tells Stefan, who replies in the preview, "If you want to beat the villain, you have to be the better villain." Oooh, intense!

The producers of The Vampire Diaries let us in on a few secrets too — the love triangle between Damon, Elena and Stefan continues, Jeremy Steven R. McQueen starts hanging out with hybrid Tyler Michael Trevino, and two people we adore are going to die. Ah!
