Vamps to Vie for Crown at 2010 People's Choice Awards

The 36th Annual People's Choice Awards nominations were announced today, and the vampires are out for blood! Twilight leads the pack with 6 nominations, up for new movie (a safe bet) as well as individual noms for Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. Together, the trio is recognized in the favorite On-Screen Team category. Kristen and R-Pattz also received individual nods for Favorite Movie Actress and Actor.

Along with the same vampire scene, the more adult-driven True Blood is up for three nominations, including Favorite TV Drama Actress Anna Paquin and Favorite TV Obsession.

Completing the group of bloodsucking nominees, The Vampire Diaries also scored two nods, one for Favorite TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy putting them up against HBO's True Blood.

Aside from the vamp votes, Taylor Swift earned three nominations, including Favorite Female artist. Let's hope Taylor and Taylor will walk the red carpet together!

As for other TV categories, Grey's Anatomy received the most drama nominations, including Favorite TV Drama, and How I Met Your Mother Received the comedy nods.

Catch all winners on the 36th Annual PCAs during the live ceremony on January 6, 2010, with Queen Latifah hosting the star-studded event. Polls are open for voting at PeoplesChoice.com.
