VIDEO: Angelina Jolie Says She's a "Better Woman" Now That She's Older

Angelina Jolie joined Matt Lauer for an interview on The Today show to promote her new film The Tourist co-starring Johnny Depp. In addition to discussing the movie, Angie shared her thoughts on why the public is so fascinated by her and what she hopes her six children will say in the future about their childhood.

While filming The Tourist abroad, Angie, Brad Pitt and their six children were followed by the paparazzi everywhere they went. So why does Angelina think the world is so interested in her?

“I’d like to think I’ve become a better woman as I’ve gotten older,” Angie explained to Matt on Today.

“I don’t find myself that interesting in that way,” she added. “I have a full life. But, you know, I do the same thing every day in my natural life. I wear the same thing every day. I don’t go out.”

But she hopes the interest in her will lessen as time goes on.

“I don’t know,” she said. “I mean, I just assume the older I get, the more it’ll go away; the more private I’ll become.”

Angie brought Brad and their children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox with them to Hungary to film and enjoy a family trip.

“I know the value … that we have this time,” Angie said. “That we have this life together that we get to explore and laugh and learn, and have that warm love."

“That is, you know, what makes life worth living, ” she added.
