Silly Billy Corgan, the camera crews meant Jessica Simpson, not Jessica Rabbit! When asked last night by paparazzi what the singer's V-Day plans were, Billy said he's "switching teams."

The Smashing Pumpkins rocker then clarified that he meant baseball teams, E! News reports. When asked about Jessica, Billy pretended tried to be funny.

"Jessica Rabbit?" he asked. "She's a cartoon character. I don't know if you knew that. They did such a good job on the movie that you swore she was real."
So when the paps specified Jessica Simpson he said, "Cubs are gonna have a really good year."
Maybe Jessica would rather be ignored than talked about anymore than she already has been by other men in her life!
