“The themes of the film are universal, and it’s a story that is so about what it is to be alive and all of the ugliness and the joy of it,” Andrew explains in the video (via Just Jared).

Never Let Me Go tells the story of three children, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy, who grew up in an English boarding school. As they grow up so does their love for each other at the same time their preparing for a frightening reality that's waiting for them.
