MMA Star War Machine Sentenced To Life In Prison For Kidnapping & Raping Ex-Girlfriend

War Machine, the Mixed Martial Arts fighter formerly known as Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver, has been sentenced to life in prison for the August 2014 kidnapping and rape of his ex-girlfriend.
According to the New York Post, the victim, Christy Mack, broke down in tears as she spoke at the hearing. “I don’t know if my life will feel complete in 12 years or 30 years and neither do you, but I do know when he gets out he will kill me,” she said.

War Machine also addressed the court, apologizing for brutally beating and raping Christy in an attack that lasted for hours, explaining that something is "not right" in his head.
The judge then handed down a life sentence with a possibility of parole after 36 years.
