Christian Bale started his Oscar acceptance Speech for Best Supporting Actor for The Fighter with his usual jokes. But somewhere towards they end his softer side came out and Christian actually choked up!

"What a room full of talented and inspirational people," Christian began his speech (via MTV News). "What am I doing here?"
And he even made a crack at his co-star Melissa Leo, who accepted her award before him.
"I'm not gonna drop the F-bomb like co-star and Best Supporting Actress winner Melissa Leo did," Chris said. "I've done that plenty!"
Yes, we think the amount of profanities he yelled on set of Terminator: Salvation (that was caught on tape) will last him a lifetime!

But Christian then surprised everyone, including himself, when he became tearful while thanking his family!
"I didn't think I was like this," Christian said as he tried to hold back the tears. "Thanks to my wonderful wife and our little girl, who's taught me so much more than I'll ever be able to teach her."
