Paul McDonald added some rock tenderness to his bluesy voice, delivering a strong performance of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison." The Nashville singer took the stage once again with his guitar and gave the Cash classic a more up-tempo feel that had Jennifer Lopez clapping in her seat.

Randy Jackson kept it simple with three little words — "I loved it!" he shouted, after Paul closed out the show.

"Paul you are such a crazy character man," rocker Steven Tyler shared. "A perfect imperfect boy."

J. Lo felt it was a "perfect way to end the show."
