Watch Pia Toscano Finally Sing An Up-Tempo Song on 'American Idol'

Pia Toscano wanted to show America last night that she can sing an up-tempo song on American Idol so she sang Tina Turner's "River Deep Mountain High" for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame week. But did Pia prove her point?

"Murder. Murderer. You killed it!" Steven Tyler said. "Pia, you've got to know. There are a million guys out there in a million bars having a million drinks about you tonight."

"That was amazing. I mean vocally you proved to us and to everybody that you can sing an up-tempo. That was like, 'Check. Okay.' " Jennifer Lopez added. "It's amazing. You are really really really special up there. Again, I'm going to keep pushing you because when you see greatness...I am here to help you."

But to go to the next level, Jennifer suggested Pia keeps studying and keeps researching to "get that performance into it."

"What you showed me is what I already knew," Randy Jackson said. "You could definitely deliver on an up-tempo and you did that tonight. Jennifer is right, all you need to do now is work on the movement."
