Taylor Swift‘s new music for for “Mean” from her album Speak Now, is similar to her performance of the song at the ACM Awards. Meaning—it’s just as cute as you would want it to be!
Taylor has several costume changes in this new video. She starts out playing her banjo with her band in a set that looks like the front yard of a farmhouse. She then switches to a ’20s-style dress and is tied to train tracks by a villain. Finally, she’s in the big city, singing on Broadway!
According to MTV News, the video was filmed over two days in L.A. at the Opheum Theatre. Taylor hopes to empower her fans with anti-bullying messages featured throughout the video.
