Julia Roberts is teaming up with Tom Hanks in Larry Crowne, which is the first film Tom's directed since That Thing You Do.

Tom stars as a middle-aged man who gets fired from his job for not having a college degree, New York Magazine reports. He goes back to school and meets his burned-out professor, Julia, while trying to reinvent himself.
The film also stars Bryan Cranston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Rami Malek, Pam Grier, George Takei and Wilmer Valderrama.
