It’s a good thing Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of the Real Housewives of New York is joining forces with OK! to school them on the right thing to do! In a rough situation, we just ask, “What Would the Countess Do?” This week the Countess dishes on getting over a broken heart and making new names stick.
How do you rebound from a devastating break-up and keep it all together when out in public?
Breaking up is hard for everyone but as a mother of two teens with an entertainment career, I didn’t have the luxury of retreating from the public eye during my divorce. Instead, I took time to take care of myself and I made sure that I ate properly and maintained my exercise routine. By keeping busy and staying healthy, I was able to maintain a positive attitude about my future and about finding love again.

Any tricks to remembering the names of acquaintances when you just meet and have to remember it later?
The best way to remember someone’s name is to repeat their name after you meet by saying, “it’s so nice to meet you Sally.” Another trick is to link this person in your mind to another person you know so when you meet again, you remember their name. If you make eye contact and spend a few moments chatting, you’ll have a much easier time remembering them in the future.
Tip: People are instantly charmed when you recall their name and remember a little bit about them.
