As fans count down to the opening of The Hunger Games on March 23, at least they have music from the anticipated soundtrack to tide them over.
It was announced last week that country sensation Taylor Swift would be singing the first single off the album. The track "Safe and Sound" was released on iTunes on Dec. 23 and was written by the album's producer T. Bone Burnett and the group The Civil Wars. That track is already sitting atop the iTunes top-selling singles list.

Now comes word of even more artists on the soundtrack's lineup. Groups Arcade Fire and The Decemberists will provide original music to the soundtrack. And that's not all.
Even star Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the film, is getting involved. Jennifer has lended her vocals to a track that is yet to be unannounced.
