Even after the New York Times explained to Whoopi Goldberg that she had misread their article, the View host wasn't going to back down from the comments she made. But it seems Whoopi has had a change of heart.

OK! NEWS: WHOOPI GOLDBERG ON NEW YORK TIMES MISREAD — "I'VE MADE 50 MOVIES & NO MENTION?"

However, Whoopi fired back telling USA Today, “You shouldn’t have to read a story five times to get the meaning. It’s an erasure. I’ve made 50 movies, and no mention?”

“It’s sloppy journalism,” she added. “I’ve said my piece.”

But now Whoopi is wanting to take her "sloppy" comment back.

"I said that I felt the reporting was shoddy and for that I'm going to apologize, OK?" Whoopi said on The View on Wednesday (via USA Today). "I personally found the article really confusing, and as I said, I was also quite hurt that Cuba Gooding Jr., Louis Gossett Jr., and myself were not included in this exposé about black Hollywood."
