
'World War Z' to Welcome Brad Pitt?

Brad Pitt as a zombie fighter? Yeah, we'd watch that! The actor is reportedly set to star in the zombie epic, World War Z!

World War Z author Max Brooks reportedly told MTV News at Comic-Con in San Diego on Wednesday that Brad is attached to star in the film adaptation of his book.
And Brooks said Paramount has optioned the rights to The Zombie Survival Guide and The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks, two of his other projects.

“I can’t believe how cool Paramount has been to me and these projects, and how cool Plan B has been,” he told MTV News.
In 2007, Plan B, Brad's production company, obtained the rights to World War Z. Brooks said Paramount is hoping for a 2010 summer release with Marc Forster directing.

“I’m glad they took their time, and are trying to make the best zombie movie they can,” Brooks said. “I’m so glad they stayed with the project and so glad they found the right team.”
With Brad as lead, it's definitely the right team!
