'16 And Pregnant' Alum Whitney Purvis Arrested For Making 'Terroristic Threats'
16 and Pregnant alum Whitney Purvis has been arrested on felony charges for allegedly making shocking threats.
The former teen mom — who appeared on season 1 of 16 and Pregnant — was arrested and booked at a Barstow County, Georgia jail on October 14, 2021, for an incident that was said to have occurred on September 27, 2021, according to reports made by The Sun.
The 31-year-old was charged with "terroristic threats and acts", and later released on $5,000 bond.
In her mugshot, the tv personality looked rundown and exhausted, seen with messy hair and wearing an oversized, dark grey sweatshirt.
Though the specific "threats and acts" involved have not been disclosed by police or confirmed by Purvis, she did take to social media in November to provide an update on being "so proud" of how far she has come in the last month.

"One month and I'm so proud," the mom-of-two wrote on Facebook. "Not to be cheesy, but after two really rough years, I'm finally starting to love and believe in myself again."
"I truly apologize if you've met me or had to deal with me during this toxic period," the post continued. "I was a really lost, hurt, angry, and traumatized person with some pretty terrible coping mechanisms and didn't know how to deal with any of what life was throwing at me."
"Never underestimate the power of therapy, self discipline, and God," she added. "Time to finally grow and live up to my potential and learn to stop self-sabotaging (and I lost 15 pounds, 15 more and I'm at my weight goal!)."
