Bring on the glam!
The 93rd Academy Awards took place Sunday, April 25 in Los Angeles at both the Dolby Theatre and Union Station.
The ceremony date was pushed back two months due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the film industry, but it was certainly be worth the wait. The 2021 Oscars happened fully LIVE and in person, following a year's worth of virtual awards shows.
For the third consecutive ceremony, there was no singular host. Instead an "ensemble cast" of 15 presenters including will be involved in the ceremony in some way, including Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Laura Dern, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Reese Witherspoon, Zendaya, and more guided the show.
The night also marked the return of the red carpet and the stars certainly brought it!

Amanda Seyfried
The Best Supporting Actress nominee for Mank made a statement in red tulle ballgown with a plunging neckline from Armani Privé and Forevermark jewelry.
Maria Bakalova
The Best Supporting Actress nominee, who looked unrecognizable to her Borat Subsequent Moviefilm character, wore a Louis Vuitton creation featuring a deep v neckline, white crystal embroidery and 100 meters of layered tulle. She finished the look with a selection of jewels from Moussaieff.
Her skin also glowed thanks to celebrity facialist Iván Pol's signature Beauty Sandwich treatment which she received before the big night.

The One Night In Miami actor, who is also nominated for Best Song, looked like a winner in a gilded double-breasted Brioni suit styled with Cartier jewels and Omega watch.
Regina King
The One Night In Miami director turned heads in a custom silvery-blue Louis Vuitton gown with dramatic butterfly sleeves, teamed with Forevermark jewelry.
Andra Day
The United States vs. Billie Holliday actress flashed some skin in a custom gold cut-out Vera Wang Haute Couture draped asymmetrical gown made entirely out of metal. She completed the look with Casadei shoes and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

The Promising Young Woman actress flashed her abs in Valentino Haute Couture gold sequin bandeau top and matching full skirt, styled with Cartier jewels.
Reese Witherspoon
The Morning Show star looked radiant in a red silk georgette asymmetrical dress from the Dior Fall 2021 collection.
Margot Robbie
The producer of the film Promising Young Woman wore a custom metallic lace, low-back Chanel Fall 2019 Haute Couture dress styled with a Chanel clutch and Chanel Fine Jewelry. A effortless low ponytail and bangs completed the look.

Nineteen years since her historic Oscar win, the actress wore a romantic berry-colored Dolce & Gabbana gown and debuted a striking blunt bob.

On hand as a presenter, the actress pumped up the volume in a red off-the-shoulder Alberta Ferretti dress featuring an extra large bow in the back and tulle train. A lip-shaped clutch and Chopard jewels completed the look.
Yuh-Jung Youn, Yeri Han
The Minari stars were all smiles on the red carpet. The 73-year-old, nominated for Best Supporting Actress, wore a navy short sleeve gown which was cinched at the waisted and featured cool flap pockets on the skirt. She added some glitz with a Rogeer Vivier Broche Vivier Buckle clutch and jewels including earrings featuring 5.11-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold, a ring featuring a 21.15-carat oval shaped sapphire and diamonds set in 18k white gold and a bracelet featuring 50.8-carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold, all from Chopard Haute Joaillerie.
Han chose a bold red high-neck sleeveless gown with gold details by Louis Vuitton and carried a Roger Vivier clutch.
H.E.R.
The singer, who took home the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Fight for You" from Judas and the Black Messiah wore a whimsical embellished purple Dundas jumpsuit with a matching cape. She accessorized her look with a pair of matching purple Bonnie Clyde glasses sunglasses and heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.
She also added a dazzling collection jewels including diamond earrings featuring two 2.01-carat oval diamonds and diamonds set in 18k white gold, a ring featuring a 3.93-carat round shaped sapphire, 13.99-carats of diamonds and 6.91-carats of blue sapphires set in 18k white gold, a ring featuring a 12.649-carat cushion shaped purple spinel, triangle cut diamonds and diamonds set in 18k white gold, and two rings featuring pastel blue sapphires set in 18k white gold and white diamonds and a sapphire set in 18k white gold, all by Chopard.

The first British woman to be nominated by the Academy for directing for Promising Young Woman wore a Gucci Epilogue green and lilac multicolor floral printed organdy long sleeve gown with all-over sequin embroidery and ruffle details with silver metallic leather high heel platform sandals and a pink satin Dionysus clutch. She described her look as a “pottery teacher who has a business opportunity for you that is absolutely not a pyramid scheme.”
