Adult star Amy Ginger Hart never expected a Bumble date to lead her into a New York City s-- positive commune.
But at 25, she found herself living in a home with 12 people where s-- parties, nudity, and k--- events were part of everyday life.
Amy Ginger Hart Grew Up in a Catholic Household

After growing up Catholic, Amy Ginger Hart said she spent years feeling ashamed of her sexuality.
Hart grew up in a Catholic household where she was taught that s-- was something to be ashamed of.
"My mom told me when I was young that m----------- was a sin, which created a shameful relationship with my body because I was still going to do it," Hart told OK!
"Every time I did, I thought, 'Oh my god, this is so bad... As my sexuality evolved, I developed k----, which made me feel weird all over again. I remember thinking, 'Why can't I just be normal? Something must be wrong with me,'" she added.
The Bumble Date That Changed Everything

Amy Ginger Hart recalled discovering a New York home where nudity was completely normal.
At 25, the adult star decided to leave home and move to New York.
"I moved to New York, where I matched with a guy on Bumble. I met up with him at his place, and it turned out he lived in a s---positive brownstone commune in New York City. It was a complete stroke of luck," she revealed.

'Perfect For Me'

Amy Ginger Hart said the NYC commune hosted s-- parties, k--- workshops and educational events.
Hart immediately immersed herself in the community.
"Through him, I got involved with their events. They hosted s-- parties, as well as educational workshops and demos on how to explore different k---- safely. Taking your sexuality out of the shadows and into the light was part of their ethos, which was perfect for me," she shared.
The adult star added, "Being at the s-- parties and just at their house in general, I was usually naked because you didn't have to wear clothes there. I loved being naked, and I noticed that people would have a strong reaction to me. Even if they didn't say anything, their body language showed they noticed me and kept looking."

Amy Ginger Hart eventually turned to OnlyF--- and made around $200,000 during her first year.
Hart briefly considered becoming a stripper, but she ultimately decided the club environment wasn't a good fit for her because she is on the autism spectrum.
She later turned toward creating content online, eventually discovering OnlyF--- despite having little experience with social media.
The decision proved to be the right one after Hart made around $200,000 during her first year on the platform.
