No Holding Back! Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Caught Sharing A Passionate Smooch During Dinner
Enjoying their second act — and then some! If there was any uncertainty that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are officially back together, new evidence has come to light that will squash those doubts.
In photos obtained by Page Six, Affleck, 48, and the Hustlers star are seen cuddling during dinner at Nobu in Malibu, Calif., on Sunday, June 13, as they celebrated Lopez’s sister’s 50th birthday. At one point, the 51-year-old and The Way Back actor shared a passionate smooch.
Lopez and Affleck — who dated for two years before calling off their engagement in 2004 — haven’t exactly been hiding their new-and-improved relationship, per se. In fact, ever since they rekindled their romance in April following the “Let’s Get Loud” singer’s split from Alex Rodriguez, they’ve been spotted out and about in Montana, Miami and Los Angeles.
Though Lopez primarily resided in Miami in recent years, she looked right at home on the West Coast. OK! previously reported that Lopez plans to spend more time in Los Angeles to be closer to Affleck — and has even been “scouting new schools” for Max and Emme, the 13-year-old twins she shares with ex Marc Anthony. (Affleck shares Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, with ex Jennifer Garner.)
It may seem like the two — who first met while filming 2002’s Gigli — are rushing into things, but really, Affleck and Lopez just know what they want this time around. Mostly, not to make the same mistake they made back when they first dated, a.k.a. when Bennifer faced media scrutiny. “They don’t want a repeat,” an insider previously told OK!.
That means being strategic about their outings. “Ben and J.Lo had a discussion about paparazzi,” a source explained, adding that the former Fly Girl "warned him they would be followed by paparazzi again, and he knew and understood.”
Still, nobody can blame the pair for slipping up and getting snapped enjoying some PDA. "Jen and Ben have been all over each other and can’t seem to get enough — all day, every day,” an insider recently spilled of the pair. “Their chemistry is off the charts. They are always affectionate.” (Clearly!)
