Brandi Glanville admitted she feels conflicted about discussing Kim Zolciak’s teenage son following his arrest over an alleged changing-room incident involving an underage girl.
"As I'm saying this, I'm realizing I'm a hypocrite," Glanville said on the August 27 episode of the "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered" podcast. "Because I'm saying we shouldn't talk about kids that are underage. But I'm sitting here talking about it."
Glanville, who is a mother of two sons, said the case affected her differently because of her own experience raising boys.
She Believes Children Should Not Pay for Their Parents' Fame

Glanville said she avoids speaking about underage kids.
Glanville's broader concern centered on the attention directed at children whose parents have appeared on reality television.
"My point is that we shouldn't talk about kids that are underage when their parents put them on TV," she said. "They didn't sign up for it."
Her comments came as Kroy "KJ" Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, faced felony allegations in Georgia.
Her Experience as a Boy Mom Shaped Her View

Glanville said she had given her sons lessons about consent.
Brandi said raising sons made the allegations especially difficult for her to consider.
"Because I'm a mom of boys, I feel a certain way," she said. "I was very protective of my kids."
She then described the conversations she had with her sons about respecting boundaries and obtaining consent.
"I was like, 'You cannot hold hands unless you ask. You cannot kiss unless you ask. You have to ask if you can hug her,'" the reality starlet said. "Like, you cannot do one thing."
Brandi said those lessons had been important to her as her sons grew up.

She Urged People to Let the Legal Process Play Out

Glanville said people should wait for the legal process to play out before passing judgement.
Brandi cautioned against treating allegations as facts before the case moves through the courts.
"As a mom of boys, read the f------ article. Read it carefully because anyone can say anything," she said. "I'm not discounting the fact that this woman has trauma and that's what she says happened, but let's leave it to the justice system and not the press."
Brandi's comments came with an acknowledgment that the allegations involved another underage person.
"In this case, a woman, a girl, underage also, said that she was sexually assaulted by this kid at the gym," she said.
Biermann Jr. Was Arrested Earlier in August

Biermann Jr. has denied the allegations of sexual battery.
KJ was arrested in Alpharetta, Ga., on August 17 and charged with aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery after a female classmate accused him of sexually assaulting her in a gym changing area. He remains jailed without bond, according to TMZ.
Kim has denied the allegations on her son's behalf, telling TMZ that her son "categorically denies" the alleged conduct.
The case remains pending.
