California Supreme Court Denies Brad Pitt's Request Over Ongoing Custody Battle With Estranged Ex Angelina Jolie
California courts have denied an embattled Brad Pitt's request to intervene in the ongoing custody battle with his estranged ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
The high profile couple — who share Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13 — married in 2014 after 12 years of dating, but split in 2016, resulting in a years long legal battle that is yet to be resolved.
The petition came about after the World War Z actor challenged his ex's custody win and filed to disqualify the judge presiding over their case, arguing that she only won because of an unfair technicality.
As OK! previously reported, Judge John W. Ouderkirk granted Pitt partial custody of his children back in May, but a few months later, the judge was disqualified by a California appeals court because he had not properly disclosed his personal business relationships with the Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood star's attorneys.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, the 57-year-old was requesting that the Supreme Court take a second look at the drama-filled case, explaining that the judge being removed should have no effect on the 50/50 custody he was previously granted after years of deliberation and testimonies by expert witnesses.

"After more than four years of contentious litigation, every day of which has harmed the children and their father, an important and considered custody decision will be entirely undone as a result of an administrative error that is wholly unrelated to the merits of the custody dispute itself," the since-denied petition read.
Meanwhile, the Maleficent actress has been living her best life from traveling the world with her kiddos for the premiere of Marvel's latest epic The Eternals, to sparking rumors of romance with Canadian singer The Weeknd.
The 46-year-old recently dodged questions about her potential flame in an interview with E!’s Daily Pop when host Justin Sylvester tried to steer the topic from her role in The Eternals to her love life by asking her if she was more excited about the movie, or her friendship with the "Blinding Lights" singer.
"They're very excited about this film... If that's what you're asking," she said firmly, effectively closing doors on that particular topic. "They're very excited about this film."
