Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa's son, Brayden, is in better spirits after he went to the hospital over the weekend.
"Scary 12 hours for us parents + step parents. After being admitted to the ER, Brayden had to have an emergency appendectomy as well as removal of Meckel's diverticulum early this morning. Nothing like seeing your child in excruciating pain 😣..luckily the surgery went well and he is recovering and in good spirits," the mom-of-three, 38, wrote via Instagram. "The entire staff at Mission Hospital was amazing and we are all grateful it was caught early. Blessed to have 3 healthy + happy kids, caring family and friends and a husband who stands by my side. Happy Mother’s Day everyone. 🤍."
Of course, people immediately sent kind words to the blonde beauty, who recently married Joshua Hall.
One person wrote, "Oh my gosh I’m so sorry this happened but so relieved he is okay!!! Sending you all love and prayers this morning," while another added, "So thankful Bray is in the best of hands and has his mommy right next to him. While not the most ideal way to spend Mother’s Day, this is exactly what being the amazing mother you are is all about ♥️."
A third person stated, "So scary friend. Praying for quick recovery and happy healthy kiddos - lots of love to you mama!"

El Moussa also shared an updated with his fans via social media. "It’s been an interesting 24 hours. Last night we were at the CHOC Gala and this morning we were at CHOC hospital waiting for Brayden to get out of surgery. He was extremely sick last night so Christina took him to the emergency room," he wrote. "It turns out it was the right call because he had to have his appendix removed and also we found out he has something rare called Meckel’s diverticulum. Both issues were surgically removed and he’s recovering overnight with his mom. He’s such a strong boy and of course he told me he’s very excited to eat real food tomorrow, he’s obsessed with food just like his daddy❤️ very scary day, but we all banned together as a family to get through it. Thank you to the amazing Doctors and nurses who took such incredible care of our boy."
Joshua revealed he envisioned the day going a bit differently, but he still gushed over his wife. "Christina never slowed, showed any sign of weakness and remained focused the whole time. She is currently without sleep for the last 33+ hours. She will rest again soon, but not until her job as a mom is complete. So we will always remember this Mother’s Day and I will always remember why God made Christina a mother, because she was made for it. Happy Mother’s Day to this woman, my mother and all the moms out there today. ❤️," he wrote.
