CBD Georgia Peach Cocktail
Peaches may seem like an all-American fruit, but it's not native to North America. Historians now believe peaches originated in Ancient China, and they only gradually made their way to Europe via trade.
Interestingly, we know the exact time and place where Europeans first brought peaches into Georgia. According to official documentation, 16th century Franciscan monks planted the first peach groves on the islands of Cumberland and St. Simons.
Need more peach trivia to impress your party guests? Well, did you know Georgia holds a record for the biggest peach cobbler? Fort Valley fairgoers got to taste a peach cobbler that measured 11 x 5 feet with a depth of eight inches. That translates to roughly 75 gallons of fresh peach slices!

Since the Georgia Peach isn't a "standard cocktail," please don't hesitate to give it your own twist. Indeed, as you start researching the Georgia Peach online, you'll find many people have unique additions to this simple cocktail.
For instance, if you want to make this a Southern treat, why not add a nip of Southern Comfort? Some people also add some "Alabama Slammer style" with two dashes of grenadine and a little orange juice. A few more "off-the-wall" renditions of the Georgia Peach use Caribbean rum as the primary spirit, so there are plenty of ways to improvise with this drink.
Of course, the only thing you should always include in a Georgia Peach is, well, peach! Otherwise, go ahead and combine different ingredients till you find what you enjoy.
