COUPLESDalton Gomez Was 'Very Happy' With His 'Tasteful' Diamond Wedding Band For New Wife Ariana Grande
“7 rings” singer Ariana Grande can add one more to her hand, courtesy of new hubby Dalton Gomez. Apparently, the real estate agent had a very “hands-on” approach when designing the pop star's new bling.
"It's a beautiful, tasteful platinum and diamond pave band," a spokesperson for the jeweler told E! News. "Dalton was very happy with it."
Gomez reportedly used the expert jewelry designer Jack Solow once again, as Solow also crafted the princess of pop’s one-of-a-kind engagement ring.
"Dalton was involved in every step of the selection process through FaceTime and Zoom since he was on the west coast and I was here in my office in New York," Solow said in December. "He was very, very specific about what he wanted."
The jeweler explained the reason behind Gomez’s unique design choice for her engagement ring, one that was personal for his bride-to-be at the time. "He had very strong feelings about how he wanted this to look, a contemporary kind of way. It was his idea to do the diamond on an angle and he said to me we had to incorporate a pearl into the finished piece… [the] element of a pearl is very, very sentimentally special to Ariana. He wanted to include that in the ring,” Solow said.
As OK! previously reported, the “thank u next” singer and Gomez tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with less than 20 people over the weekend. A spokesperson for the singer added, "The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."
"They decided to have the wedding this past weekend because their schedules are picking up and neither wanted to wait. They both agreed there was no point in waiting," a source revealed.
"It was beautiful but not over the top," the source explained, adding: "Ari wanted it to be simplistic and tasteful. All they cared about was having family there and to be able to enjoy the special moment together."
At the time of her engagement, the pop singer shared a slideshow of pictures including some cute selfies with her then-fiancé, and of course showed off her gorgeous ring. She captioned the post, “Forever n then some.”
