Danica Patrick is shutting down the body-shamers.
The former NASCAR driver, 44, fired back at critics on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 4, after receiving negative comments about a bikini photo she shared from her vacation in Ibiza.
Patrick posted a photo of her healthy meal and addressed the criticism with a pointed message.
“Since many have told me to eat after the last post, I shall show you more meals,” she wrote.
The retired race car driver added, “Lunch here, and breakfast was 3 eggs plus 2 whites and a large homemade slice of @brooke_selman sourdough with butter and blueberry jam. 🤤.”

Danica Patrick responded to body-shaming comments after sharing a bikini photo from her Ibiza vacation on Instagram.
She followed it up with another Story showing herself paddleboarding while highlighting the work she puts into maintaining her physique.
“If you don’t lift weights (like for real) and eat your d--- protein (not 2 eggs), you don’t have to get muscles,” she wrote. “And the more muscle you have, the more you get to eat!!!!!! The end.”
Bikini Vacation Photos Spark Reactions

Danica Patrick revealed details of her high-protein meals while explaining the effort behind maintaining her muscular physique.
Patrick's response comes shortly after she shared a bikini snapshot from her scenic European getaway.
In the photo, she wore a neon yellow triangle bikini with cheeky string bottoms, accessorizing with a body chain, layered necklaces and black sunglasses. She slicked her hair back into a ponytail and smiled softly as she posed against the picturesque beach backdrop.
“We saw so many beautiful beaches… but the modes of transportation it took to get there was half the fun😜!!!!! 🛥️ 🚌 🛩️🚤🚁🏄🏻♂️,” she captioned the post.
The athlete has been documenting her European vacation throughout the summer. Just weeks earlier, she shared another swimsuit look while enjoying the trip.
For that outing, Patrick modeled a layered black-and-white bikini featuring a scoop-neck top beneath a square-neck design. She paired the asymmetrical swimsuit with matching bottoms that combined a low-rise white layer and a high-cut black layer. She completed the look with a delicate necklace, black sunglasses, stud earrings and diamond tennis bracelets.
“Summering in Europe has become a ritual. 🫶🏻,” Patrick captioned the earlier post. “Let the questionable photo selection begin. 🤣 Let’s go! 🇬🇷.”
