Erika Jayne's Attorney Fires Back At Bethenny Frankel's Claim That Tom Girardi Owed Her Late Boyfriend $500K, Says 'RHONY' Alum Is 'Trying To Throw Dirt'
Erika Jayne's attorney has fired back at Bethenny Frankel after she claimed that Tom Girardi owed her late boyfriend Dennis Shields $500,000.
The "Expensive" singer's attorney Evan Borges told Page Six, “Erika has no knowledge of the alleged loans or the conversations referred to by Ms. Frankel, which even per Ms. Frankel, didn’t involve Erika."
The lawyer continued, “To me, this is another example of people trying to throw dirt on Erika based on alleged conversations (this time, with an individual, Dennis [Shields], who I understand is deceased) where even the perpetrator of the gossip says Erika wasn’t involved.”
On the Thursday, September 16, episode of Frankel's podcast Just B with Bethenny, the Real Housewives of New York alum revealed that her former beau — who died of a suspected drug overdose in Trump tower in 2018 — told her that the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star's estranged husband Girardi and his money problems were the “worst-kept secret” in LA law circles, and that the 82-year-old attorney owed him a large sum of money.

As OK! previously reported, Frankel said of the Girardi's lavish lifestyle, “My experience is, especially with the ‘Housewives’ … if someone’s flaunting their money, they don’t really have it."
According to the Big Shot With Bethenny host, Shields told her, “He [Girardi] owes me half a million dollars. I know this other guy he owes a million and a half dollars. He doesn’t have money. He owes everybody money.”
“It’s because he’s using people’s money to support her lifestyle,” Frankel recalled the late businessman telling her. "He’s using the company’s money to support her lifestyle."
The Skinnygirl founder concluded her parade of revelations about the former attorney as she said, “That’s just what happens – things take a long time to come out. They all knew about it.”
