'Ex On The Beach' Alum Chris Pearson Dead At 25 Following Fatal Stabbing, It Is A 'Solvable Case' Law Enforcement Source Says
Ex On The Beach star Chris Pearson has died at the age of 25.
The reality star passed away after he was reportedly stabbed in Los Angeles, Calif., on Sunday, October 10.
Pearson was found at around 2. a.m. with stab wounds on the 22100 block of Erwin Street, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said, per Deadline. After being taken to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead at around 3:30 a.m.
Pearson is said to have been "involved in a verbal argument with the suspect" before the stabbing incident, according to police.
A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department told Deadline that the suspect fled to an unknown location.
An investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that it is a "solvable case."
The publication later reported that Pearson was said to have been down by the pool in his apartment complex making a lot of noise at around 2 a.m on the night he was stabbed. Sources told TMZ that the musician went inside the building to confront someone who had been yelling at him from a balcony. After going inside, Pearson was reportedly fatally stabbed in the chest.

A GoFundMe was set up to cover Pearson's funeral expenses. It has raised more than $5,000 of it's $30,000 goal so far.
"Chris was the one person that loved with his whole heart," the fundraiser read. "He had so much love and energy to give to every single person he crossed paths with."
According to the fundraiser, Pearson was "the most determined person there could ever be." "He had a dream, set a goal & didn't stop until he achieved that goal. It didn't matter what or who he lost on the way, he made sure he had his eye on one thing and one thing only."
"The only other thing that Chris loved more than his music was his family and friends," the GoFundMe noted. "All Chris wanted was to make it far in life to help his family and make them proud."
The D.J. was best known for his time on the first season of the U.S. version of Ex on the Beach. The show debuted in 2018.
"We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Chris Pearson. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time," Ex on the Beach tweeted.
