When asked what Waddingham brings as a scene partner, Temple said, "An infinite amount of everything, because it starts with feeling truly like, if anything happened, whether it would be good, bad, catastrophic, she's a safe place as long as I connect with her. Like, just make eye contact with her. I just, I don't know, she feels like home."

To this, Waddingham said, "We found each other so easily in real life that it meant that we could lend that to our ladies that we play as, like, an outside perspective of an actor watching another actor do their thing."
