Dropping Hints! Has Adele's Romance With LeBron James' Agent Rich Paul Been Going On For Months?
Her "new" man? Adele and rumored boyfriend Rich Paul made their courtside debut during Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, July 17 — but the pair may have been together for much longer than initially believed.
While the sports agent — who reps LeBron James — was taking part in a profile for the New Yorker at the beginning of June, he coyly dropped some hints that he was getting close to a famous musician.
At one point during the interview, Paul referred to a "major pop star" — although the outlet opted not to reveal the mystery woman's name — who he had been "hanging out" with, noting, “She was over yesterday."
When the Ohio-based agent was asked why he and the not yet specified "Hello" songstress were spending time together, the 39-year-old replied, “Why not?” (However, Paul added at the time, “I’m not dating, I’m single. Put that in the story.”)
While that was almost two months ago, it seems as if the duo's relationship has certainly progressed into something more.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst dropped a bomb on his podcast "The Lowe Post" referring to the Grammy winner as Paul’s "girlfriend" after their noteworthy appearance together sitting courtside at Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The host did not mince words, proclaiming, “Rich Paul, [LeBron James’] agent, brings his girlfriend to the game sitting next to LeBron. His girlfriend is Adele. Rich Paul is at the game with Adele.”
“This is the first time they’ve come out in public together," he continued. "So this will be all over the tabloids, especially in England tomorrow.”
The rumored couple has yet to confirm their relationship. The hit maker was last linked to rapper Skepta, but never confirmed the relationship. She was married to Simon Konecki, with whom she shares 8-year-old son Angelo, from 2016 to 2021.
