Are Adele & Skepta Back On? Singer Spotted At Outlet Mall With Rumored Flame
Witnesses told Page Six that the "Rolling in the Deep" singer was spotted at the Cabazon Outlets mall outside San Bernardino, Calif., helping a man who appeared to be Skepta pick out clothes.
"She was sitting watching him while he was picking sweaters, pants, trying on jackets and coats and having the employees help him. She was giving him feedback and saying what she thought he looked great in," a source told the outlet, noting the two were shopping in the discount Prada store. "It was cute that just waiting and being a normal girlfriend while he looked. He must have shopped for 45 minutes."
The 33-year-old also reportedly played with a customer's puppy.
As OK! previously reported, following the "Someone Like You" singer's split from ex-husband Simon Konecki, she had been said to be dating Skepta, who was born Joseph Junior Adenuga.
In October, an insider told PEOPLE that "things have been heating up" between Adele and Skepta. "They run in the same circles in London, and she's having fun," the source explained.
They had been friends for several years before becoming a suspected item.
"Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check," the "Shutdown" singer previously told the Evening Standard in 2016. "She speaks to me about how things are going."
After Adele hosted Saturday Night Live in October, she said she was "going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am" on Instagram, which prompted many to believe she and Skepta were no longer an item.
Adele filed for divorce from Koncecki in September 2019 after seven years together and their split was finalized in March. They share 8-year-old Angelo. Meanwhile, Skepta is dad to 2-year-old daughter River.
"Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up," an insider told The Sun following Adele and Konecki's split. "They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection."
