The investigation into Hayden Penettiere's death is currently ongoing.

The coroner also noted the investigation into the "Wake Up Call" singer's death is currently ongoing.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen," Panettiere's rep said in a statement.
A Greenville police spokesperson told NBC News over the weekend that Penettiere was given "medical assistance" at the scene.
Hayden Panettiere Suffered With Back Problems Months Before She Passed

Hayden Penettiere suffered with nerve issues in her back months before she died.
“The case is under investigation by the Greenville Police Department in conjunction with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. The preliminary investigation has not indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. An acquaintance of Ms. Panettiere placed the 911 call,” they continued.
Earlier this year, Penettiere was seen struggling to walk and was spotted using crutches during a stopover at LAX. She suffered back issues due to an injury sustained just months before.
She revealed this past May during a Women's Health interview she had "nerve damage in my lower back."
"I quite literally woke up and felt nothing but pins and needles from my waist down," she said. "I wasn't able to bend my toes or lift my foot at all. No one was able to give me a solid answer."
