The Greenville Coroner's Office found "no signs of trauma" in Hayden Panettiere's death.

The 36-year-old was declared dead at an apartment complex in Greenville, S.C., with 911 dispatchers making mention of "cardiac arrest" and a potential "overdose."

Preliminary reports suggested there had been no signs of foul play after she seemingly traveled to the East Coast from Los Angeles, Calif., with her allegedly abusive on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson.

Hayden Panettiere was found dead in South Carolina on August 16.

Less than 24 hours after her death, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and Coroner Mike Ellis released an autopsy report.

"An autopsy was completed today. At autopsy, no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death," read the statement. "The cause and manner of death remain pending further investigation and the completion of additional studies. This investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are available for release at this time."

Hickerson was jailed in 2021 for 45 days after multiple abuse charges were laid against him by Panettiere. He was arrested multiple times throughout their relationship from 2018 to 2022 for alleged physical altercations.

They broke up for good in 2022 after he was accused of starting a physical fight with her outside of a Los Angeles, Calif., bar.

"The individual was pronounced deceased at 2:32 p.m.," they concluded.
