NEWS'Hercules' Star Kevin Sorbo Reveals Why He'll Never Move Back to California: 'I'm Done'
Kevin Sorbo said he doesn't regret leaving California.

Kevin Sorbo, the former star of the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, revealed he has no interest in returning to California.
In an interview with Fox News Digital posted on August 30, the 67-year-old actor says he was sick of the "taxes, traffic and negativity" in the Golden State, and found "acceptance" in his new home state of Florida.
'They Can Keep Their Taxes, Traffic, And Negativity'
Sorbo has little love for his former home state.
Sorbo, an outspoken Republican moved from California to Florida around 2019, and while he admitted that there are aspects of his former home that he misses, he is enjoying the conservative environment he finds himself in in the Sunshine State.
"I mean, here in Florida, yeah, we get five months of pretty high humidity. It's pretty hot, but the winters here are really quite amazing," Sorbo said. "But yeah, there are things I miss, but they can keep their taxes, they can keep their traffic, and they can keep their negativity, I'm done."
Sorbo was promoting his new faith-based film, Elijah Peel, in the interview.
Sorbo Thinks His 'Different Opinions' Had Him Ostracized From Hollywood
Sorbo has voiced several highly controversial viewpoints in recent years.
Sorbo took shots at Hollywood in the interview, which he believes ostracized him for his right-wing views.
"That's why I find a lot of things in Hollywood, with their blacklisting people that have conservative or Christian viewpoints, I find it like they're seventh grade mean girls," he said.
Sorbo has sparked several controversies with his social media posts. He supported President Donald Trump's claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him, promoted anti-vax conspiracies during the COVID-19 pandemic and said the violence at the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot was the work of Antifa.
"It's just ridiculous and childish to me," Sorbo said of how Hollywood has treated him. "We all have different opinions. There's nothing wrong with that."

Sorbo Believes Movies Like His Have a Huge Audience
Sorbo argued his independent, conservative-values movies have a huge audience.
Sorbo said that he believes his other conservatives in Hollywood are keeping quiet because they don't want to get blacklisted like he has.
"It's the conservatives that are in the closet now because they saw me get canceled," Sorbo said. "But I'm still working."
But, undeterred, he said his career is proof that conservatives can still find work, and that audiences have an appetite for conservative media.
"There’s 80 million homes in America that want the kind of movies that I've been fortunate to be part of — that is going to keep on growing," he said.
Elijah Peel grossed $249,491 on its opening weekend at the box office.
Sorbo Was Part of the Conservative Backlash Against 'The Odyssey'
Sorbo was the star of the '90s 'Hercules' television series.
Sorbo infamously criticized The Odyssey ahead of the film's release, joining a litany of conservative commentators who tried to declare that the film would be a flop due to the casting of trans and Black actors in prominent roles.
In May, Sorbo complained that in addition to the "DEI," the film did not accurately portray Ancient Greece, which many found ironic considering the historical inaccuracies of Sorbo's Hercules series.
The Odyssey went on to net $264.1 million on its opening weekend.
