Howie Mandel Is 'At Home And Doing Better' After Fainting At A Starbucks, Reveals He Was 'Dehydrated' & 'Had Low Blood Sugar'

Howie Mandel gave an update on his condition after he fainted outside a Starbucks.

As previously reported by OK!, the 65-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital after he collapsed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 13.

"I am home and doing better," Mandel tweeted. "I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar. I appreciate the great doctors and nurses that took such good care of me. Thank you to everyone who reached out but I am doing ok!"

Fans sent the actor their well wishes.

"glad u are ok howie. feel better soon<3," one fan replied on Twitter.

According to TMZ, the America's Got Talent judge is a regular customer at the Starbucks in question. Customers who knew him were shocked to see him pass out.

He is said to have been with his wife, Terry Mandel, and some friends when he passed out and was laid down on a bench. He was reportedly able to sit up by the time the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene but was taken to a medical center as a precaution and to run some tests.

The former Deal or No Deal host has been candid about his Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in the past. He previously told Page Six that he takes medication to manage the condition.

"I’m moving my therapist into a whole new tax bracket on the phone," he joked. "Some people call it a pandemic, I call it 'told ya!'"
