Jeff Bezos faced backlash over his tribute to Dolly Parton following her death at 80.
The Amazon founder shared a heartfelt message about the late country music icon, but some critics quickly turned their attention to his own record as a billionaire and employer.
'Lead With Love'

Jeff Bezos said the country star 'spent her whole life showing us what it means to lead with love.'
Bezos posted his statement on X accompanied by a photo of the pair chatting at an event.
"Dolly spent her whole life showing us what it means to lead with love. Lauren and I are so grateful to have known her," Bezos wrote.
"She lifted everyone with her music, her generosity, and her joy. Sending our sincere condolences to her family and everyone she touched," he added.
Jeff Bezos also included a picture of the pair at an event.
'Be More Dolly, Jeff'

Critics slammed Jeff Bezos for his statement.
Critics accused Bezos of failing to embody the values they associated with Parton.
One commenter wrote, "She was everything you are not."
Another critic said, "Dolly treated ALL her employees of Dollywood to college if they chose to do so, Jeff Bezos is on his third SuperYacht and can't even pay his Amazon employees a living wage."
"Be more Dolly, Jeff.. treat your workers better," someone shared.
One person added, "You haven't learned anything from her examples. You don't lead with love, you lead with greed."
"You could learn from her. You should learn from her. It's never too late," another user commented.
One comment bluntly read, "Keep her name out of your d--- mouth."
"She hated everything you stand for. Sit this one out," another user wrote.
Someone else said, "She must have hated how greedy you are. You are the ANTI-Dolly Parton."
