Jenni "JWoww" Farley suffered a scary medical emergency that sent her to the emergency room.

On Thursday, September 3, the Jersey Shore star took to her Instagram to share the update with her over 7 million followers.

Jennie 'JWoww' Farley has been 'dealing with a horrible kidney infection and appendicitis.'

Farley uploaded a photo with her two children, Meilani Alexandra, 12, and Greyson Valor, 10, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Roger Mathews, wearing a hospital gown and sweatpants as they posed inside her hospital room.

"Not the 'first day of school' picture I wanted to post," the 41-year-old started. "This past week has probably been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I’ve spent every day fighting to get healthy enough to get home to my family while dealing with a horrible kidney infection and appendicitis."

Jenni 'JWoww' Farley has been dealing with 'weight loss and exhaustion.'

She then confessed that she hasn't felt like herself "for months," suffering from "weight loss, exhaustion, constantly feeling off," before "last Friday," when her body "finally said, 'We aren’t making it like this anymore.'"

The MTV personality went on to thank "the incredible hospital team taking care" of her and "doing everything they could to get me healthy enough to have this moment with my kids."

"Because no matter where I was, I was going to do my daughter’s hair for her first day," Jenni quipped, also posting a sweet video of her doing the 12-year-old's hair ahead of the first day of school.

'We Didn’t Get the Normal First-Day Morning'

Jenni 'JWoww' Farley's husband, Zack Carpinello, made sure her kids were at the hospital this morning.

She also shared that her husband, Zack Clayton Carpinello, whom she married on June 24, took care of business at home to make sure "the kids were here extra early this morning so we could all be together."

"We didn’t get the picture in front of the house. We didn’t get the normal first-day morning. We got hospital bracelets, a hospital room, backpacks, hair supplies and a memory I don’t think any of us will ever forget," Jenni added. "But sitting here watching my kids get ready for school made me think about something much bigger."

'I’m Incredibly Grateful for That'

Jenni 'JWoww' Farley shared she is 'grateful' that what she is 'going through is temporary.'

"What I am going through is temporary. For some families, something happened this summer that may have changed their lives forever," she continued. "Some kids are walking into school carrying grief, illness at home, divorce, financial struggles, a new diagnosis, or something none of us can see. And some parents may be scrolling today wishing they could have taken that perfect 'first day' picture."

Jenni concluded, "Our first-day picture looks a little different this year, but we have one. And right now, I’m incredibly grateful for that."
