Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Have 'Fallen For Each Other' In An 'Intense Way,' They're Figuring Out When To Go 'Public' With Their Relationship: Insider
Former flames Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck set the internet ablaze after the two started to reconnect and hang out following Lopez’s split from MLB legend Alex Rodriguez — and now, reports are surfacing that the two are trying to figure out the right time to go public with their relationship.
In late April, Lopez and Affleck — who called off their 2003 wedding — were spotted secretly hanging at the singer’s Los Angeles mansion. Then, in late May, the kindred spirits spent time together in Big Sky, Mont., where the Batman alum has a home. (The two haven’t been spotted together since.)
“Right now they’re going with the flow and making plans to meet up as often as possible, but there’s still some discussing to do before they officially go public,” an insider spilled about the current status of their relationship. “It was Ben’s idea to go to Montana, a place he absolutely loves, and they had a wonderful time there just snuggling up and being together without any pressure.”
The source continued: “It’s very clear they’ve fallen for each other again in a very intense way, but they don’t want to jinx anything by attaching labels or putting themselves under too much pressure,” noting that “when the time is right and assuming things continue to evolve romantically between them, likely a month or two, they’ll probably go Instagram official or step out hand in hand at a restaurant somewhere.”
What is holding the couple back? According to the insider, the couple formerly known as Bennifer is thinking about their gaggle of kids and how they might feel about the new relationship.

Affleck shares daughters Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and son Samuel, 9, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, from whom he separated in 2015. Meanwhile, Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, 13, with ex-hubby Marc Anthony.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer’s kids also have an attachment to A-Rod. “Jen’s kids had such a sweet connection with Alex, who really doted on them and was a model stepdad,” the source explained.
“They’ve had to adjust to this new dynamic of him not being around anymore, and Jen is reluctant to spring a new special someone in her life on them right away. So that will be phased in slowly, for sure, but eventually you can count on her wanting her kids to meet Ben.”
As OK! previously reported, Lopez ultimately pulled the plug on her four-year romance with the athlete in April — following a series of COVID-19 related wedding delays, cheating rumors and breakup reports.
