Jennifer Lopez Debuts New Music After Telling The Audience She Only Wants To Sing 'Love Songs' At The Global Citizens Live Concert
Jennifer Lopez owned the stage in her bombshell performance at Saturday's Global Citizens Live Concert, and she had nothing but love on her mind.
The smitten superstar — who has recently rekindled a red hot romance with beau Ben Affleck — told the audience at the beginning of her set that she only wanted to sing "love songs" tonight, before belting out a medley of classics including "Love Don't Cost A Thing" and "If You Had My Love."
The Maid In Manhattan actress also had a special surprise planned for fans when she debuted a brand new song titled "On My Way To You." The songstress confirmed this was the first time she had ever performed it in concert, and launched into a beautiful love song teeming with romantic lyrics on "destiny" and learning from "mistakes."
"I was never lost. I was just passing through," the superstar crooned, "on my way to you ... I was on my way to you."

Written for her upcoming romcom Marry Me, the flick revolves around a Latin popstar who finds out her partner had an affair behind her back, prompting her to decide to marry a random stranger at one of her concerts who happened to be holding a "Marry Me" sign. JLo will star in the sweet romance with funnyman Owen Wilson playing her adoring fan.
Although it is unclear when the song was written, the lyrics seem to be suspiciously reminiscent of the "Jenny From The Block" singer's breakup with slugger Alex Rodriguez only to rekindle a seemingly inseparable romance with her former fiancé.
This epic night devoted to love songs comes after OK! reported a wedding might be in the near future for the powerhouse couple, and according to an insider, perhaps even before the end of the year!
Two months later, Affleck was spotted browsing for engagement rings at a Tiffany's in Century City, Calif., accompanied by his mother and his son Samuel.
"Let’s be honest, the new relationship might technically only be a few weeks old, but in reality they are picking up where they left off." The source dished to OK!. "Jen and Ben both know everything about each other — the good, the bad and the ugly. They are not starting at square one."
The source later added, "They are meant to be together and will make it official before the end of the year."
