John Lennon is officially a grandfather.
The late Beatles legend's son Sean Ono Lennon welcomed his first child, a baby boy named Aurelius, with longtime partner Charlotte Kemp Muhl.
Sean, 50, and Muhl, 39, shared the happy news on social media on Tuesday, September 1, posting sweet glimpses of their new family of three.
'We Have Indeed Created a Human Bean!'
Sean Ono Lennon proudly introduced son Aurelius on social media while celebrating becoming a first-time father at 50.
Sean couldn't contain his excitement while introducing his son to the world.
"Charlotte and I would like to announce that we have indeed created a Human Bean!" he wrote alongside a family photo. "His name is, Aurelius! Thank you!"
The musician also shared a snap of himself cradling the newborn, as well as a photo of Muhl holding Aurelius from her hospital bed, which he simply captioned, "Baby Momma!"
The couple did not reveal exactly when their son was born.
Charlotte Kemp Muhl Gets Candid About New Motherhood
Charlotte Kemp Muhl joked about the realities of new motherhood while sharing the couple had already begun introducing Aurelius to music.
Muhl, a musician and model, shared several photos of her own as she offered a humorous look at the couple's first days as parents.
"We made a human!" she exclaimed before joking about the sleep deprivation that comes with caring for a newborn.
Muhl also revealed they're already introducing Aurelius to music, noting they've been playing Aphex Twin and Igor Stravinsky for him.
She even turned to fellow parents for help, asking for their best burping technique tips.

Sean Ono Lennon is the only child of John Lennon and Yoko Ono and has followed in his parents' footsteps with a career in music.
The newest member of the Lennon family also received some love from Sean's older half-brother, Julian Lennon.
Julian, 63, reacted to the birth announcement with four heart emojis.
Sean had an equally sweet response to his brother's excitement, replying, "Uncle Jules!"
Julian is John's son with his first wife, Cynthia Lennon, while Sean is the only child of John and Yoko Ono.
Aurelius Is John Lennon's First Grandchild
Baby Aurelius is John Lennon's first biological grandchild, arriving more than 45 years after the Beatles legend's death.
Aurelius' arrival marks another milestone for the famous musical family, as he is John's first biological grandchild.
Sean was born on October 9, 1975 — his father's 35th birthday — and was only 5 years old when the Beatles icon was killed in December 1980.
John famously wrote "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)" about Sean, releasing the track on his and Ono's 1980 album Double Fantasy.
Ono, meanwhile, was already a grandmother through daughter Kyoko Chan Cox, whom she shares with ex-husband Anthony Cox.
Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl Have Been Together for Years
Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl have blended their personal and professional lives, making music together as The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger.
Sean and Muhl's relationship stretches back more than two decades.
The pair first met at Coachella in 2005 and began dating in 2007. Their relationship eventually became a creative partnership as well.
The musicians formed The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger together and have collaborated on multiple projects over the years.
Sean has also continued his parents' musical legacy through his solo career and other collaborations. In 2025, he revealed he's "technically" taken over from his mother as custodian of his father's legacy, though he stressed that fans around the world play a part in preserving it too.
Now, Sean and Muhl are starting a new chapter together — as parents.
