Awards Show Drama: Jojo Siwa Subtly Shades 2022 Kids' Choice Awards After Not Getting An Invite
Jojo Siwa is throwing shade at Nickelodeon's 2022 Kids' Choice Awards.
The "Hold the Drama" singer took to social media to update fans on exactly why she wasn't at the popular awards show this year despite regularly attending in the past — she was snubbed!
"A lot of you have been asking why I’m not at the Nickelodeon Kid Choice Awards tonight," Siwa wrote in the caption of a video shared to Instagram on late Friday, April 9. "I don’t want anyone to think it was my choice not to go…. I simply didn’t get an invite:("
"I'm not sure why," she elaborated in the 14-second clip. "But I just...didn't get an invite."

Despite an apparently rocky relationship with Nickelodeon and her breakup with ex-girlfriend Kylie Prewe last October, Siwa is doing better than ever and feeling all the love!
The "Boomerang" singer recently celebrated her one year anniversary of coming out as gay, and hasn't regretted a second of it.
"In the last 365 days I’ve felt more love than ever. A year ago today I posted this picture and shared with the world that I was gay,” Siwa wrote on Instagram next to a series of snapshots of herself the past year.
"Truthfully I feel like I was put on this earth to be a role model for kids, and letting all the kids of the world know that loving everyone for who they are no matter what is something that I will always believe in and always share," she continued.
"Please never forget that no matter who you are, what you look like, who you LOVE that you are absolutely perfect," she added. "thank you for showing me the most love throughout this year and throughout my entire life. I love you all."
