Kanye West's New Flame Julia Fox Apologizes To Ex Peter Artemiev For Calling Him A 'Dead Beat Dad' As They Celebrate Son's Birthday Together

Julia Fox is backtracking on a previous statement she made about her baby daddy.
The 33-year-old actress — who has recently been making headlines for her new fling with Kim Kardashian's estranged husband, Kanye West — previously labeled the father of her child a "dead beat dad," which she now wishes to take back.
Fox called out ex-husband Peter Artemiev — with whom she shares one-year-old son Valentino — back in December, where she accused him of spending too much time at the strip clubs and not enough time with his family.
However, the brunette beauty is now taking back her previous statement, which she apologized for on the latest episode of her "Forbidden Fruits" podcast.
"All I want to say is, I'm sorry," Fox stated on the podcast episode, per Daily Mail. "You're not a deadbeat, I know that you're not and I know that it wasn't that you weren't trying to see Valentino, it's that you weren't trying to see me."
She went on to explain how the holiday season was a difficult time for her in the midst of the pandemic, saying: "Everyone had COVID. I had no help at all whatsoever, and my friend was out and saw Peter out and Peter was saying something along the lines of, 'That b**ch won't let me see my son.' And when that was relayed to me…my blood boiled. I just snapped."
As OK! previously reported, the Uncut Gems star slammed Artemiev via her Instagram story last month, just weeks before hooking up with the Yeezy designer.

"Please remind him that he has a child to take care of!," she wrote of her baby daddy. "Oh and if u (sic) chill w[ith] him knowing damn well he is a deadbeat alcoholic drug addict dad, you are not my friend and i will call you out too!"
"I can't even do it anymore," she continued in a follow-up post. "I just don't want my son f**ked up cuz he feels like his dad was absent or loved alcohol and partying more than him. As a mother anyone could understand that."
"Do better please!!! It's the holidays have a heart and see your kids. This man left me with a 5-month-old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS. It's wrong," she added.
Artemiev responded to Fox's comments at the time, admitting he was "saddened to learn of the utterly false statements made on social media by Julia Fox, my co-parent, who is clearly struggling." However, he insisted, "out of respect for her privacy and to protect our child, I will not comment further."
Luckily, it all seems to be water under the bridge, as the former couple — who finalized their divorce in 2021 — recently put their drama aside to celebrate their son's first birthday together in New York City.
Fox wished her baby boy a happy birthday with a series of Instagram photos and videos in a special tribute post, where she promised, "to love you unconditionally and accept you for who you are ♥️."
