'Teen Mom 2' Star Kailyn Lowry Slammed For Hinting She Was Going To Leave Her Home After Testing Positive For COVID
Kailyn Lowry is in hot water.
The Teen Mom 2 star is receiving tons of backlash for hinting that she was going to leave her house, despite testing positive for COVID just days before.
Lowry got the positive test result after traveling to the Dominican Republic with her four sons, but that hasn’t stopped her from getting things done.
The 29-year-old mom — who is in the process of designing a mansion in Delaware — shared a text conversation with her interior designer on her Instagram Story.
In the exchange, her interior designer asked if she had time to drive by some locations to check out the door designs.
“Like wait in the car? Cause COVID? But yes I do,” Lowry replied.
The designer assured that it would just be a drive by, to which Lowry responded, “Yeah! Just send me addresses.”
“I figured you may need to get out for some fun,” the designer added.

The reality star shared the post on Instagram, writing, “Get y’all a designer like mine. I’ll sanitize my truck after,” along with crying laughing emojis.
But fans didn’t receive the post the way Lowry might have expected. Many found it deplorable that she was willing to break quarantine and leave her home.
“This is so disgusting and proves she has no regard for anyone else,” one Reddit user wrote. "She is a toxic and selfish."
“I thought she was posting all over her insta how sick and miserable she was feeling?" another complained. "Now all of a sudden she has the strength to get out of bed and bop all over town well before the 14 days? I can’t with her."
Another angry user commented, “Irresponsible idiot.”
Lowry recently confirmed that she tested positive for COVID on her “Baby Mamas No Drama” podcast. Her cohost, Vee Rivera — who is married to the TV personality's ex Jo Rivera — also tested positive.
“We are COVID queens,” Vee said in the most recent episode. “We got cooties.”
“I am so sorry,” Lowry added, explaining that she must have brought the virus home after being on vacation.
“Last Thursday we tested negative in Dominican Republic, and then came home, and in order to film we had to test again on Monday and that was also negative,” Lowry said. “But then by the following Thursday it was positive and I knew because I felt like sh*t all week.”
Meanwhile, Lowry's ex, Javi Marroquin, also tested positive after the reality star sent their son Lincoln to stay with his father after he tested negative.
