Kanye West Reportedly Using Rumored Reconciliation With Kim Kardashian As Stunt To 'Beat' Nemesis Drake 'In Record Sales'
Kanye West is pulling out all the stops.
The rapper and his ex, Kim Kardashian, set the internet ablaze last week when they staged a fake wedding ceremony in Soldier Field at his Donda listening bash in Chicago.
The KKW beauty founder shared snaps of the duo appearing to re-marry on Thursday, August 26. The reality TV legend stunned in a white Balenciaga Haute Couture ivory silk long train wedding dress, topped with a gorgeous wool veil.
Typical wedding music played as Kardashian greeted the “Gold Digger” rapper, who took off his hat and ski mask so you could see his face.
Many fans were left wondering if the pair — who are in the midst of a divorce — were getting back together, and it seems West might be a little confused as well.
The 44-year-old rap icon has reportedly “been telling other rappers that he and Kim are back together,” a source spilled to Page Six, noting “everybody knows that isn’t true.”

“Kim is a nice person – while she and Kanye are not back together – she’s happy to support him in his work and his art,” the source said, adding: “She wants a good relationship with him for the sake of their children.” The former flames share North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 2.
An insider squealed the reason why West is going out of his way to create a spectacle is to take down his nemesis Drake. “The real story is that Kanye wants to beat Drake in record sales, and he is putting on a big show of performance art to grab all the media attention,” the source continued.
West and the “Hotline Bling” crooner’s feud has been escalating over the last couple of weeks, with 'Ye going as far as to leak Drake’s home address in Toronto via social media. He later deleted it after the Degrassi alum just laughed it off in his Instagram Story.
Seemingly adding fuel to the fire, Drake announced the release of his upcoming album a day after Donda was released.
“CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3,” he captioned a snap via Instagram of the official album cover on Monday, August 30.
