Clarkson's new purchase comes amid her ongoing divorce from Brandon Blackstock after they wed in 2013. While the American Idol alum tirelessly works to become legally single, her career is taking off, making a $5.4 million paycheck nothing more than pocket change for her.
OK! recently reported that The Kelly Clarkson Show will take over the daytime slot that The Ellen DeGeneres Show is currently occupying on NBC-owned stations.
The famed talk show host previously opened up about her new purchase, revealing that the move helped her out amid her tumultuous personal life. “I got a new house, it’s very white and clean,” Clarkson shared last year on her talk show. “I just wanted to feel happy. The colors make me feel very good.”
Clarkson certainly appears to be thriving in the next chapter of her life, despite her messy divorce, as she was recently spotted hanging out with her sister Alyssa, 45, and a few pals at the Flower Market in Downtown Los Angeles. Maybe the crew can now chill out at the singer's new crib.
