Another day, another glamorous appearance from Kelly Clarkson!
On April 11, the 39-year-old singer donned a gold metallic dress and was all smiles as she kicked off filming for American Song Contest alongside cohost Snoop Dogg.
As usual, prior to shooting, the River Rose and the Magical Lullaby author posted a photo of her outfit from backstage and revealed the designers behind each piece so fans could recreate the look. "Wow the dress looks so beautiful and the color i love it you look so gorgeous💛💞❤," one fan wrote, while another commented, "Queen in Gold 🔥."

Though the American Idol alum's personal life has hit some turmoil, she's maintained an upbeat demeanor in public. After a lengthy battle, she finalized and settled her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, 45, agreeing to give him a one-time payment of over $1 million in addition to a six-figure monthly spousal support and over $40,000 in monthly child support for their two kids, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 6.

The hefty payments have made the mom-of-two a bit hesitant to date again, claimed a source, who explained of her ex, "She could no longer trust Brandon, and she felt that Brandon was just using her for her money and lifestyle. She had tremendous resentment toward him."
Despite her worries, she is open to the idea of meeting someone new.
"She has been asking [friends] to discreetly set her up, but she’s had zero success there too. She’s getting more frustrated by the day," an insider told Us Weekly. "All she wants is somebody to have a good time with and a little romance in her life."
On the bright side, the crooner's career is continuing to thrive, and after Ellen DeGeneres wraps up her show in May, Clarkson's talk show will take over the coveted time slot, moving from 2 p.m. ET to an hour later.
"She will be taking a few weeks off to take the kids on vacation, but will be focused on complete overhaul of her show as she takes over for Ellen," another Us Weekly source shared.
The Kelly Clarkson Show, which airs on NBC, is currently in its third season and has already been renewed through 2023.
