In her essay, Knight discussed the years of self-scrutiny, crash dieting and medi-spa procedures that shaped her journey as an on-camera entertainment reporter.

Standing beside “the most gorgeous people on the planet” took a toll on her self-esteem.

Initially, Knight did not plan to share her decision about her facelift.

“I didn’t really know if I was going to tell anyone," she said.

At 41, she grappled with societal expectations surrounding cosmetic surgery.

The procedure was performed by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond, who has worked with high-profile clients like the Kardashian-Jenners.

Although the facelift was expected to last three to four hours, complications with extensive scar tissue forced it to extend to nearly nine hours.

Diamond expressed pride in providing invisible results for his clients, stating, “I work on the most recognizable faces in the world, and my job is to make them look better, or ageless, while not making it obvious what they’ve done.”

Knight described her results as “a couture facelift,” and she returned to work within two weeks.

She praised Diamond's work, saying, “It was like couture. A couture facelift.”

Additionally, Knight revealed that she lied about her weight to secure a GLP-1 prescription, which helped her lose about seven or eight pounds.

“You’re not going to leave me behind on a trend!” she said, reflecting the competitive nature of celebrity culture.

She is not the first E! personality to speak about cosmetic surgery. Former host Catt Sadler recently shared her own experiences with lift procedures in a Glamour essay.

Knight ultimately decided to reveal her facelift secret at Rachel Zoe’s disco birthday party, filmed for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The candid moment came after cast member Dorit Kemsley remarked that she was “aging backward.”

Knight embraced this opportunity to come clean, stating, “What if it’s good to admit you got a f------ facelift at 41? What if that actually is freeing?”
