Kim Kardashian Is Trying To Ignore Kanye West's Pleas 'To Get Back Together,' She Is 'Really Happy Right Now,' Source Spills
Despite Kanye West's pleas for reconciliation, Kim Kardashian seems adamant that they are done for good.
As reported by OK!, the rapper — who legally changed his name to Ye — declared "Kimye forever" in a since-deleted Instagram post. He told fans in another deleted post that he does not have beef with his estranged wife despite previously going after her online for the way she parents their children. "I LOVE MY FAMILY SO STOP THAT NARRATIVE IM NOT GIVING UP ON MY FAMILY," he wrote.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Ye in February 2021. Then in December, she filed to be declared legally single and to have her maiden name restored. Meanwhile, the reality star has been linked to Pete Davidson since October after she hosted Saturday Night Live.
Amid all of the chaos that has been playing out in recent weeks, an insider told E! News how the 41-year-old feels about the artist's behavior. "Kim is trying to ignore Kanye's social media posts and pleas to get back together," the source revealed. "She is really happy right now and is having a lot of fun. She likes where she is at in life and is loving this new chapter."
According to the source, Kardashian's main priority throughout their messy divorce is that the former flames' children are safe and taken care of, as the SKIMS founder will always be civil with her ex when it comes to their kids: North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

Meanwhile, Kardashian also wants Ye to be happy, as the source reportedly added: "Kim is hopeful Kanye will be able to move on in the future and accept they aren't getting back together."
Another insider told the publication The King of Staten Island alum is not fully caught up on the former couple's Instagram drama because he is not active on social media: "He doesn't want to get involved or be in the middle of Kim and Kanye."
"He supports Kim with whatever she needs and they try not to focus on it," the source said, noting that the 28-year-old even has "sympathy" for what the "Donda" singer is going through, seemingly referring to him having to watch his ex move on in the public eye. It should be noted that not only has West threatened Davidson in two new songs, but he also repeatedly bashed the funnyman on Instagram.
As for Kardashian, the source reportedly declared she can ignore drama when she needs to. She is "very good at compartmentalizing and not letting these things get to her," the source said.
As reported by OK!, Ye and Julia Fox called it quits on Valentine's Day after first sparking up a romance on New Year's Eve in Miami. After flaunting their steamy open relationship for two months, it seems West's social media tirade may have been too much for the new flames.
