Kim Kardashian Begs Lawyers To Help Stop Release Of Ray-J Tapes — 'Over My Dead Body Is This Happening Again': Report

Kim Kardashian is pulling out all the stops to prevent ex Ray J from releasing scandalous recordings of the two.

The Sun reported Kardashian has hired attorneys to help stop the release of the recordings. A source told the outlet that the KKW Beauty founder has already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to protect her family "at all costs.”

Kardashian and Ray J were in a relationship up until 2006, and a sex tape of the two was leaked one year after they parted away. The release helped launch Kardashian into superstardom in a twisted way.

Now, Ray J is reportedly threatening to release new recordings of Kardashian, who has long split from the singer. Kardashian is now dating SNL star Pete Davidson and has four children with ex-husband Kayne West, from whom she filed for divorce in February 2021.

“Kim knows that Ray J made other tapes of them together. Some of the footage will be incredibly intimate,” a source spilled to The Sun. “She has told lawyers, ‘over my dead body is this happening again.’”

Kardashian and her brood came back into the spotlight in recent weeks with the release of their new reality show The Kardashians on Hulu. The show chronicles the lives of the mega-influencer family and their public relationships, friendships, business endeavors and more. It piggybacks off the long-running reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The reality star made her red carpet debut with Davidson at the Hulu premiere earlier this month, but she posed for photos by herself. Nevertheless, paparazzi still got snaps of the couple hand-in-hand as they arrived to the Hollywood event that saw Kourtney Kardashian joined by beau Travis Barker and Khloé Kardashian with daughter True, 4, by her side.

The highly anticipated series is going to be one for the books, as the famous family will touch on their past failed relationships and new loves. From Kardashian's headline-making divorce from Ye to sparks flying with Davidson, the entrepreneur certainly won't be holding back.
